Synspective Inc., a SAR satellite data and solutions provider, announced the successful deployment of its seventh SAR satellite, StriX, the latest addition to its growing constellation. The “Owl New World” mission has taken flight, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver persistent Earth observation capabilities to customers worldwide.

The satellite was launched into orbit by Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket from Launch Complex 1 on New Zealand’s Mahia Peninsula on October 14 at 16:33 (UTC). Over the coming months, Synspective will conduct testing and commissioning to verify the satellite’s observation capabilities before entering service.

Motoyuki Arai, founder and CEO of Synspective, commented: “This launch marks a major milestone for Synspective, as it is the first time we have successfully placed a third-generation SAR satellite into orbit. Building upon our accumulated operational experience and technological expertise, we have achieved significant advancements in observation performance, reliability, and scalability. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the team at Rocket Lab for safely and successfully carrying out this mission, as well as to all the members of Synspective who made this achievement possible. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our satellite and data analytics technologies to address global challenges, such as security, disaster management, and environmental sustainability, thereby contributing to the creation of a more resilient and sustainable future.”
