Synspective is Selected to Participate in the FY2024 Demonstration Project Led by the Cabinet Office to Expand the Use of Small SAR Satellite Constellations

TOKYO, 2024, April 5th – Synspective is selected to participate in the FY2024 demonstration project led by the Cabinet Office to expand the use of small SAR satellite constellations.

■ The purpose of this project

In order to expand the full-scale use of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data in domestic ministries and agencies, the National Space Policy Secretariat of the Cabinet Office will oversee a project to test small SAR satellite constellations in various administrative areas. They will assess and evaluate their effectiveness, feasibility, and any issues at an early stage.

Additionally, the project team will check how these satellites can be utilized in daily operations to meet practical needs and further ensure the SAR data meets performance expectations, addressing any areas that require improvement.
